| 1993 | "A National Preservation Program for Agricultural Literature" was written by Nancy Gwinn with assistance from the Advisory Panel on Preservation, U.S. Agricultural Information Network. Social Issues Interest Group formed USAIN-L was established as the listserv for the organization. |
| 1992 | Testimony before a U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee that led to the successful preservation of funding for the National Agricultural Library. Advisory role in the National Agricultural Text Digitizing Project. |
| 1991 | Conference scholarship established for new librarians in the field of agriculture . USAIN sponsored the "Preconference on National Preservation Planning" USAIN membership accepted the proposal from this conference to develop a "National Preservation Plan for the Historical Literature of Agriculture." |
