Journal of Extension (JOE) — 1970 - present. JOE is the official refereed journal of the U.S. Cooperative Extension System. It seeks to expand and update the research and knowledge base for Extension professionals and other adult educators to improve their effectiveness.
PlantFacts — horticulture and crop science information from 46 different colleges, universities, and government institutions across the United States and Canada. This searchable site run by the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science, The Ohio State University provides access to over 260,000 pages of Extension fact sheets and bulletins from every land-grant university in the U.S. and several government institutions across Canada. Try this resource even for non-plant research queries as their "plant" filter is porous.
Extension Information about Alternatives — links to Extension Guidesheets prepared by extension agents around the country, organized by topic. Provided by the Missouri Alternatives Center and the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Survey of Digitized Historic State Agricultural Publications— This spreadsheet is an on-going inventory of digitized state agricultural publication series. Links to publication series for each state and U.S. territory are listed on a separate tab. It is the result of an AgNIC Working Group led by Rob McGeachin from Texas A&M. Florida Agricultural History and Rural Life — the period of early agricultural development from the turn of the century to its modern changes (1820-1945) and the early development of engineered solutions to Florida's needs (1933-1970s) is documented in this collection. Included are a bibliography, full-text copies of Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (IFAS) , Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) , and University of Florida Engineering and Industrial Experiment Station (EIES) publications (not all series have been converted, but will become available over time), and photographs.
Hawaii: CTAHR Databases and other Information Sources. (College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources) — searchable databases of University of Hawaii theses and dissertations in agriculture, journal series, and extension and research publications with links to PDF files when available.
Nebraska Extension: Digital Collections — University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Educators and Specialists teach, facilitate and collaborate in providing research-based information.
eXtension— this collaborative effort provides systems to deliver interactive education and publications online. The eXtension initiative is led by the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) as part of the move to advance the science outreach of land-grant colleges and universities to the people of the states they serve.
