Communications Committee

The Communications & Website Committee oversees and manages all aspects of USAIN's digital presence. This includes the website, listserv, and other communication channels. The Committee is dedicated to providing accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly information to members and external audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Website Management:
    • Maintain and update the USAIN website, ensuring content accuracy and quality.

    • Troubleshoot website issues and assist members with content updates.

    • Manage website permissions and access to administrative functions.

    • Monitor website accessibility and usability standards.

    • Review the website regularly for broken links and incorrect information.

    • Maintain the USAIN Website Best Practices document.

    • Collaborate with conference planning co-chairs to develop conference websites and registration systems.

    • Provide training to members on website content management and maintenance.

    • Periodically re-evaluate the web hosting agreement in conjunction with the Chair of Communications and President.

  • Communications:

    • Facilitate communication with members and external audiences through various channels, including the listserv (USAIN-L).

    • Explore and implement new communication methods as needed.
