The United States Agricultural Information Network is a member-based organization for information professionals that provides a forum for discussion of food and agricultural issues, takes a leadership role in the formation of a national information policy as related to food and agriculture, makes recommendations to the National Agricultural Library on agricultural information matters, and promotes cooperation and communication among its members and with other organizations and individuals.

Through committees and interest groups, USAIN members work on activities related to preservation and digitization of current and historical publications; access to publicly-funded research; professional development; and exchange of research results generated by our members and collaborators.
