 "Can Your Beans Do That?" A Podcast by Farmer Sledge

Meet with farmer Cedric Shannon from . Weathertop Farm. Cedric can share his experience being a philosopher farmer (producing rotationally-grazed meats) who also podcasts. Participants are welcome to submit questions ahead of time if you’d like him to address specific topics. After the meeting, there will be ample time to explore the Farmers Market, which goes from 2-6pm.

Brewing Tour: VT Food Science & Technology (FST)-Hardywood & Ice Cream Collab

Join FST faculty member Brian Wiersema for a tour of the Human and Agricultural Biosciences Building 1 (HABB1) Pilot Scale Brewhouse and Pilot Plant. They will discuss the development of Fighting Hokies line of beers with Hardywood, the VT line of ice creams with Homestead Creamery, and a sensory evaluation of the ingredients in those products.
