To apply, send a cover letter including name, address, e-mail address, and phone number along with job title/description, place of employment and length of time spent in the agricultural information field, and/or a statement as a first-time attendee.

Also, submit an essay on a separate page or pages. The essay should be double-spaced, no more than 750 words, and address the 2022 conference theme: “Supporting Agriculture: Food, Fiber, and Family.” Essays will be judged on the basis of thoughtfulness, quality of writing, and adherence to application guidelines as described above.

Award recipients agree to write and publish a reflection of their conference experience on USAIN social media. The reflection will be submitted to the Awards & Honors Committee for approval prior to publication.

Checks will be mailed to the recipients following the USAIN Awards Ceremony at the Conference. USAIN reserves the right to withhold the awards if there are no suitable applicants.
